Plenty's been happening on the B•2•B website…

• A new seller, The Food Source International, has been added to the database.

• The member log in system has been improved and pages have been added to handle all the various account functions.

• A new tag line has been added to B2B Ingredients. 'The Easier Way to Source'. This has been added to the B2B logo on all pages.

• All sellers have been added to the database.

• Most seller locations have been added.

• A member log in system has been added so that only members can access the search reports.

• A new header has been added to all pages that are not 'Search' or 'Report' pages. (including this page)

Here's a B•2•B Happenings update on the web site. Our main area of development has been centered on the seasonings group.

  • More work has been done on the company reports.

  • Removing the effects on the search pages is complete.

  • To handle the different certifications of the different locations a manufacturer may have, I gave each location its own

    page in the database so that each location matching the search criteria shows up in the report list. This can easily be seen by running a report with no criteria checked. All 3 of the Newlyweds Foods that I have entered so far, show at the top of the list. That's because they bid the most. I think doing this eliminates the need for zones and maps.

Here's a B•2•B Happenings update on the web site. Our main area of development has once again been centered on the sourcing section of the seasonings group.

  • Work was done on the company reports.

  • The reports can be downloaded as a PDF file. The files are currently available for Newlyweds Foods and Elite Foods.

  • A navigation bar was added to the Home Page. This is bare bones for now.

  • Still working on removing the effects on the search pages. Almost half way through them

Behind the scenes here at B•2•B Ingredients things have really been happening. Our main area of development has once again been centered on the sourcing section of the seasonings group.

  • The 'Organic' search criteria has been added to all the search pages.

  • The search report pages have been updated to include 'Organic'.

  • The blog page was updated to be able to accommodate multiple blog posts.

  • Up Next: Removing the text effects (when the mouse hovers over text) from the search pages. Decided it looks tacky, and some places it grows larger than the button that it's on.

  • The search report pages are approx. 40% complete. Searching currently works for all searches containing 'Kosher'. All page links have not been tested, so explore at your own risk!

  • The blog page was most recently added, and this posting is special due to the fact that I'm hoping that it is the only one I will be authoring.
